It has a springy/summery vibe to it making it the perfect dessert for a backyard party or a causal get together. A white fluffy whipped cream frosting over a spongy vanilla cake makes an excellent combo. Top it with colorful fruits and its treat to the eyes and your taste buds.

Tortilla Pinwheels

Tortilla Pinwheels is the perfect appetizer/snack recipe for any party or potluck. Its super simple and easy to make, can be made ahead of time, looks pretty, tastes delicious and you can serve it two ways: hot (baked) or cold. Now isn't that great. I've another Cheesy Peppery Pinwheels Recipe which is using crescent dinner roll instead of tortilla. Both recipes have their own unique taste and texture due to the base used. Which ever you try am sure you will like both.

Roasted Broccoli Recipe

Looking for something healthy to snack on well here's a extremely nutritious yet tasty replacement to those store bought chips and snacks - Roasted Broccoli. Broccoli, olive oil, salt and pepper is all you will need to make them. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and chaat masala for additional flavor. You can either make them in the oven or on the stove top. These taste best when you serve them fresh out of the oven as they tend to go soft with time but hey they still taste good even then. These are great to snack on just as they are or simply serve them with your favorite dip or even add them to your salads, pastas and sandwiches/rolls.

Cucumber Thalipeeth - Savory Cucumber Pancakes - Kakdi Thalipeeth

Thalipeeth is a savory type of pancake popular in India and mainly with Maharastrians. Traditionally it is made by forming a dough of multigrain flour, onions, coriander and spices. These are then shaped in circles and roasted on pan by smearing some oil. A signature style of serving Thalipeeth is a dollop of fresh homemade butter on top. Thalipeeth is as one of my favorite breakfast types since childhood. Like most dishes, there are many varieties of Thalipeeth too - most popular is the Sago/Sabudana Thalipeeth but for today's post I'm sharing my absolute favorite Thalipeeth of all -Cucumber Thalipeeth known as Kakdi (Cucumber) Thalipeeth (Pancake) in Marathi Language.
